Today is PFD day in Alaska. The state gives us a chunk of money - Was over $2000 this year.
So.........I called Adorama and pre-ordered my Canon 50D upgrade. It's all prepaid for now.
The sales guy said they expect the camera to come in right around the first of October, and
it will ship out to me right away. Yipee!!! I can hardly wait. |

Mmm, PFD. =) I just visited my sister and cousin in Alaska, and of course they're a big topic. Sadly, having moved there last spring, my sister's family of 6 just missed the eligibility requirements. =/
I'm also dying to know the 5DMkII feature set and price tag. For me, it's either that or the 50D + some lenses or light. |

| How exciting, ShutterPug! I love new toys... I've pre-ordered mine too from CanogaCamera.com - I've been working all the overtime I can for the past few weeks to pay for it. Wish we had PFD here too! |
