Please note I know it looks blurry.
I wanted to give it a sketched look as my sister is an artist.

I'm certainly no expert, but I think you got slammed in the voting mostly for the out-of-focus issue. Voters seem to really, really hit you hard if the image is not tack sharp. I might also guess that even though the challenge was for "overexposure", you might have also gotten hit in the voting because voters may have seen the shot as too overexposed - if that makes any sense. Also, something I found out the hard way - the photo may have been seen as lacking in the "wow" factor, and without that, the best the voters seem to give is a mid-5, no matter how good the technicals are.
Finally, voters may have seen the thumbnail as being somewhat flat, and as much as I hate to say it, I'm convinced there are a number of voters that vote only by looking at the thubmnail, so any subtle features of the shot are lost to these voters.
