For those obsessed with European peleton and USA cycling this is fantastic news. Who knows how many miles and hours I've logged on my trainer while watching the Grand Tours and the Classics. Time to start planning that July trip to France!

...and this raises the question; what other events will he enter?
Only mildly interested, as the Tour of California runs through my neighborhood in February. |

He has said he will race California.
He always tests clean! He has an exemption for testosterone due to his cancer. |

I know everyone loves this guy.....but what is it with so many athletes coming back from retirement? Can't they make a decision and stick to it? |

I suspect he got bored without the competition. Should be interesting! I am planning to try to get to next year's TdF at some point in the race. The really good part is it keeps a spotlight on American cycling! |
