I loved it and loved voting and commenting.
My own effort wasn't abstract enough, (this I know now).
I still like it for its simplicity though. -->
Congrats to the winners considering what a hard challenge it was.

How come though the two mushroom photos scored so widely apart?

---> 17th place

---> 42nd place.

I like the 17th place one a little better. The 42nd one seems to me to be slightly overexposed in the corner, but didn't hurt it too much. They're only .4 apart. And I like the curves and the little nook in the one that is in 17th place. Both great images to me though.

I like the 17th place a lot better. The composition is much more interesting, there are more visual elements playing off eachother and the exposure seems more accurate. It reveals more about the character of the underside of the mushroom. Fun stuff
