I am sorry that you will not be participating in this seasons DPCO-III and I'm sure Team Canada will miss you. I just want to say that I was never 100% on the way that I was going to set up the scoring so I don't understand how you say that have been misrepresented.

Well that is why I changed the amount of points this season. That way this wouldn't happen. I will also add that the "O" points are there to keep the teams from ending up in a tie.

That's okay though, here is what I am going to do. I will run this season out the way I have it set up as is and see how it turns out as far as teams competing and where the scores will end up. Think of it as a test run... Next season I PROMISE I will set the scoring up on the same scoring system as the FSM. We'll call it the WCM, "weekly Challenge Marathon".

Joe, with all do respect, and I DO respect the work you put into this, to encourage more participation in dpc and make it more enjoyable for everyone..but your original quote when starting this whole thing was: "I'm not sure how I want to calculate the scores yet but it will be something like Scott has in the FSM. The FSM has the bonus points based on average. This was clearly promised and was not delivered. Please follow through on your original idea with THIS event, not another one.

I have already announced and set up the scoring system for this season, if anything it would be completely wrong for me to change that now.

what I will do is set up a scoring system on the side that is also based off this side challenge and see how the scores play out. So that way I can try and please everyone at once. Only thing is the FSM scoring system will not be official.

One challenge with 2 scoring systems. Hmmmm wonder how that will go with the community.

Team,

I know some of you are dissapointed with the scoring system, etc, for this season. Unfrtunatly, as you can see it's caused Bassman7 to bowout of this season. I will be staying and participating fully and I am hoping that the rest of ou will as well. Please check in here just to indicate that you're still with us this season.

I for one still think we have a great team, and no matter what we'll but up a good fight; win or loose!

I'm pretty sure we can... but I have put call all out for an extra player... hopefully we can snag one

If you guys end up playing with 7 I will adjust the scores so it only calculates that way.

Hey Guys, since Dirt_Diver and Hawkeyelonewolf are going to keep track of the stats with a "beat your average" element to them on the side, I am once again interested in this event. If you would still be interested in having me back I will participate and try and help the team as much as possible.

If you would rather have someone new, that is ok too, I understand.

I say let's take a vote... I'll reserve m vote for last.

the question on the ballot for this referendum :)(seeing as we are a democratic nation) is as follows:

Does Team Canada 1 agree to reinstate [user]Bassman7[/user] to the team? this would mean that the invitation to chalice would stand void.

Please indicate your preference.

ETA: I didn't mean to put Stand in this too..lol (I didn't even know there was a Stand...lol)

I'll vote for basssman7 since he is Canadian as well as the fact the shirts and banners wouldn't have to be re-done.

I do think however it's a little crappy to invite someone then revoke that invitation.... but my vote stands.

I would vote for basssman7, but I think we should at least talk to chalice to see whether maybe chalice would voluntarily withdraw instead.
