These were shot in 1940s by my uncle. I copied them from his negatives and fixed them a bit. Anyone know what kind of planes they might be. Thanks for any help. Van

Original: "The first one could be a version of a Douglas B23."
Close, it is a Douglas B18 Bolo, like this one:

I just had to know what second one could be, I think I found it.
It is a Keystone B-3A, also known as LB-10A.
Check the photos here:

Thanks Sander, It appears that you found both. It makes sense, the Pueblo Army Airbase was a mostly B-24 training base and these planes were probably prior to the B-24s arrival. Van |

FYI, I discuussed the Keystone B-3A with the web-master of the site that Sander provided. He agreed that it was Kestone B-3A bomber. Interestingly, he said the photo is only the second know shot of a three-propeller engined B-3A. Quite surprising to have such a rare shot. Again thanks Sander. BTW, I live in Pueblo and the B-24 Museum here is really facinating. Especially seeing my father's nose-art on B-24 photographs at the base. He was a fire fighter/crash crew member at ths base and free-lance commercial artist/photographer during WWII. Van
