Hi all!

Some of you may remember that I posted a thread here earlier about my brother wanted me to shoot his wedding. After some consideration I agreed to it.

Anyway, I got the Canon 70-200L f/2.8 IS USM lens on loan and I decided not to shoot with flash inside the church. I had tried it in the practice the day before but the pics looked flat after that.

I shot in Av mode with f/2.8 and with ISO800. The shutter speeds varied from 1/40s to 1/150s.

These pictures are just examples and are not final post processing.
I just ran a bit of USM, auto color and auto levels on some. Resized them and ran Noise ninja on them.

Pic1: The groom and our mother.

Pic2: The groom and our father.

Pic3: My "artsy" picture.

Pic4: The bride and her father.

Pic5: The kiss

Pic6: finally...

It was nerve wrecking shooting this wedding...

Anyway, any critique and post processing suggestions are welcome.

Thanks..

They look very nice! They are clear and vivid. I am not so sure about the artsy one but that is because the church is beautiful and I want to see it in the background. Good job!

Fabulous work! These are great captures and I'm sure everyone will be overjoyed with your work here! Choice to not use flash worked out nicely!

Edit:
Duh!

I'm doing two things at once!
I guess I can't chew gum and walk at the same time
LOL

Dumb question:

Very nice! Well done.
Any details on what equipment and lighting you used?

The shot of your dad and brother is great; such a strong sense of generational similarity.

Those are awesome. I would be happy to have those if it were my
wedding.

Thanks all for your compliments!

The "artsy" pic was just for fun.. :) I wanted to see the massive amount of dof the lens is capable of.

My equipment list:
Camera: Canon 300D
Lens: Canon 70-200L f/2.8 IS USM
Lighting: Used the available ambient lighting in the church. I did not have any lighting equipment at all.
Settings: Everything was shot with aperture at f/2.8 and ISO800.
