Hi,
I paid for a one month membership early this morning using paypal and see it hasn't taken effect yet. I think my mistake was paying with a bank transfer which usually takes 4 days to clear. I'd like to enter a member challenge tonight and was wondering if I could cancel the paypal transfer and pay with a credit card instead, provided that it would take effect immediately so that I could get my entry in.
Thanks,
Olyuzi

I wonder if you sent in a help ticket to Langdon or site council you might get a response in time for the challenge?

I'm afraid that membership payments/activations are outside the realm of the control of the Site Council members. We're not at all involved in processing membership fees, etc. I would recommend opening a ticket, or sending a PM directly to Langdon to ask for his help. Given how close we are to the deadline, I don't know how optimistic I can be in suggesting he'll be able to help you this quickly, in all honesty.

I did post a note to our Site Council discussion area, in hopes of grabbing his attention.

Thanks for your responses. I did send a help email (is that the same as a "help ticket?")
I realize I only have about 30 minutes to go to the rollover, so I'll probably just pay for another months' membership to get my entry in on time. If I pay with a credit card now will it take effect immediately?
