For this March Free study I used the one (very happy with it)
//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=66917
but also had these two
//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=68980
//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=68981
had the camera on AV and AI servo - then locked on the gulls taken photos using a fast shutter speed as you can see, using the canon 70-200 L F4 Lens

Nice images... really like your entry. Of the 3 I like gull_flight the most, i like the angle of the bird. The two-colour background and it's fuzziness makes the gull's sharpness stand out. But hey you made the right choice, you did really well. congrats.

I like the one you submitted best. The lighting seems better - the gull really pops out from the background. Gull_Flight1.jpg is a nice view of the gull, but seems a little dark; Gull_Flight3.jpg is a great action shot, but there's something weird about the eye. Nice work though. I had a couple of gull shots in my "short list" for MFS - maybe I should have gone with one, given how my final choice did. :( But mine weren't as nice as yours. Good work. |
