canon 75-300mm f:4-5.6 III paid $200
480mm equiv - handheld - slightly cropped - through a window
its not good with harsh backlight - and the autofocus ( which i hardly use ) is pretty slow.
i shoot in manual mode/manual focus mainly - so wasn't interested too much in the USM version will upgrade at some point - but works alright for now.
thanks ;}

$200? Such a deal, and such a shot. Detail of the little feathers is great.

well - its a slow - low end lense - but all i could afford at the time.
the photo is sharpened slightly - but not much.
i have used much sharper lenses in the past - but for the money i am happy
