I haven't used this software, but per DealNews, the Lexar Image Recovery software is available for free today through this link:
//dealnews.com/Lexar-Image-Rescue-3-for-PC-download-for-free/248603.html
Indeed, if you go through their store, it sells for $29.95.
Both a Mac and a Windows version is available.
Per their claims, works with any brand of memory card.
Enjoy, or not, whichever the case may be :)

Someone banish this 'Neil' guy. I think his account is suspicious, solicitous, and spurious.

Thanks, Neil. You never know when that might come in handy.
ETA: Oh yeah -- what Slippy said.

Thanks Neil. I already have an image recovery program but I passed this link on to some friends.

Requests should be sent to the smite site council. I'm sure they'll get right on it. |

If it wasn't free he'd be smitten as a spammer ... ;-)
Note that this software is listed as requiring Windows XP/Vista (not W2000, like I have) or Mac OS X (doesn't list there whether or not Leopard/10.5.x is supported). |

Slippy might need that tool as his portfolio pictures begin to oddly disappear...
