I'm with you. I only participate in 1 out of every 4 challenges or so because I find it difficult to try and do something artistic with the narrow topics, and within the narrow time frame.

I skipped vehicles and wheels because they were too concrete, I skipped chaos because it was too abstract! I did submit to the free challenge.

I was trying to start a thread based "petition" today for a "Tutorial Challenge". I thought that would be fun and give us lattitude to take pictures of subjects we like to photograph. I encourage people who agree to find that thread that rolled off the main page and add a vote.

All those last minute voters have dragged my score down :(
Still, it may end up getting my best score (or very close).
I don't think a low 7 vote will score a ribbon in this one though, the quality was just too good !!

I predict 6-8 images above 7.0 in this challenge. The field was incredibly good.
If you score above 7.0 and don't ribbon, I can relate. Been there, done that. But it sure does feel good to score above 7 anyhow!

Ok,here is the problem with this:

1 Digital art ,not a photography is the winner!
2 Manipulation with the scores on April 1 where after first 25 votes my score was 7.4 than dropped to 4.7,to go back to 5,7 on April second!
3 Only 185 votes out of 310 photos submitted?

Conclusion:
This challenge should be nullified and re-done for fairness reason to everyone involved here!

I wasn't able to vote as I went on holiday on the 1st and only got back yesterday and I was far too tired to vote.

Sorry!

THANKS TO ALL WHO COMMENTED ME THOUGH!

My highest score (7.31) and no ribbon... tough competition!!
Well done everyone, it was a pleasure to vote on all the pictures, and thanks everyone for your votes and comments.

Nullify? Nah. I went through the results and I agree with them for the most part. Congrats to everyone who finished 7.0+ for their photography and photo editing skill. Well done and well deserved!

I wasn't very inspired during March and all I wanted to submit was an image that wouldn't score much lower than my score average. I reached that goal. Thanks for the votes and comments folks.
