Product shots.
Use your photography skills to create a product shot of an item currently on the market. Advanced editing.
Show off your marketing and lighting skill by putting forward a great shot to be used in a magazine or print ad. No text to be allowed. Just Advanced editing.
Some variation of that. I searched and couldnt find anything similar. Although the search function isnt my greatest feat.

From February of this year: Advertisement III
I would love to do it under advanced rules, though.

I'm not so sure I made myself clear, although the advertisement challenge is just about where I was going, how I missed that I dont know.
I was referring to just a product shot, not the entire ad.
We all know how challenging lighting, glass, metal, any and all reflective surfaces can be. Also lighting a product in a way that brings out the little things designers put in products that make them look nice, but have no effect on how they function.
Anyway............after pointing out the advertising challenge it may be too soon for something like this.

Nope it was announced and submissions open on the week leading up to and including the MDA telethon. Between the two jobs I have and three days of volunteering for the telethon I didn't have time. But I did vote in it.
