| I would suggest... after just uploading to my new found portfolio (THANKS DEB) the past couple of months in images that a batch rename function could be quite useful when making large uploads! |

How do you see batch rename working? Do you always title your images with similar titles?
Or is the suggestion for a page that lists all your images where you can just change the title and hit submit once? What about the rest of the information, like keywords, galleries etc.?

A page that lists all the images, sorry I wasn't too clear on that.
I think that assigning titles here and then having the option to choose the images you wish to add further details to would really help in batch upload situations. |

What would be better would be if the EXIF info was read on upload, including the title and any keywords.

| The EXIF data is a good idea too, the only problem I can forsee (for me at least) is that I use SaveForWeb, which strips EXIF data (can that be turned off?). |

| The purpose, as I understand it, of SaveForWeb is to make the file as small as possible by stripping extras such as EXIF. To keep it intact simply save normally at the size you want to post. |
