It was raining most of the day at the Norfolk Wildlife Park. These two pics are straight out of the camera and just resised, any comments?

Both great shots..but my favourite has to be the peacock for the way it fills the frame with colour.

Thanks Gordon, unfortunately the pcock had a bad feather. I have a couple of closer shots but think I prefer this to the others. I actually prefer the owl shot.
btw, anybody know how many eggs a peacock lays in a year?

Interesting question. Google information says 3-5 eggs at a time and 28-day hatching schedule in Spring. Couldn't find out if this is a once a year occurance. Expect it is. |

These are excellent shots, ESPECIALLY since they were straight out of the camera, very nicely done!

Ah, then maybe it does the chicken thing. If it can't brood it keeps laying? Tell us how many! |

Well ok then, if peeps have read this far then they should be interested, the answer is of course NONE peacocks are male, its the peahens that lay the eggs
