Great Job to Keri Walsh and Misty May ! Great Job winning against the #1 seed. Unreal teamwork.

...and Keri...I really loved your comments at the end of the match. It took a lot of guts to say that in this age where many are telling me the "world hates the U.S." !!

US men's and women's 4 x 100 relay both drop stick. Don't advance to finals !

You must be new here........let me help you a bit. Although this is a photography site, dont really expect alot of photography to actually happen or be discussed. If it did I'm not sure people would recognize the place.

i used to think it was weird to have beach volleyball as an olympic sport but it is starting to grow on me

Fairly new, yes. I notice a lot of outside conversation which is to be expected. But the way the athletes were addressed it seems like the OP knew them. Thanks for the info. =^)

Sorry to say the OP doesn't know them! I'd like to meet them both though!

When the second game was starting to get out of control the Chinese girl "faked" an arm injury to get a 5 minute time out. (I say faked because she has a habit of doing it in tough matches.)

All this delay did was give Keri/Misty a chance to rest. After that, they proceeded to kick ass.

She faked a stomach ache in another game as well. She gets 10 minutes for an injury i think. But iI did get a bit worried as the Americans were drinking a lot of water... Still 18/21!
