Wow! Are most of these straight from the camera (other than cropping) or have you adjusted the contrast? I absolutely love the colors on them all! The reflections in park-2 are amazing! The clarity is just...wow...

I was thinking the same thing because I've heard the colors out of the D70 aren't very vivid in some cases. I read there's certain camera adjustments you can make (or something) that corrects this (if you are having a problem at all).
Theodor, how do you like the camera so far? What pros and cons are you finding, and what did you upgrade from? I'm considering the D70 myself.

i am going to orlando, actually gonna stay in kissimmee, but it is pretty close to orlando..my old camera is a fujifilm 3800, 3 megapixel...so d70 was a big upgrade.. i love the camera... it is just so fast, responds to every wish immediately... photos in normal optimization mode do come out a little bit dull... but in the reviews i read said that d70s pictures were better than d100 and rebel as far as saturation and vividness is concerned.. so that dullness might be a shared problem in all dSLRs... but in different optimization modes it provides more vibrant images.. so it can be fixed bith within the camera and by editting afterwards.. so no worries there.. i would strongly recommend this to anybody who is looking into getting to the world of dSLRs... dpreview.com just posted a comprehensive review and the final conclusion is that overall it is a better camera than rebel and d100 and in some cases it can give 10d a run for its money...awesome deal |
