I assumed it was done within editing rules. A bit scary in nature, but very different from the rest of the pack. Gave it a 7.

I doubt most people on dpc thought it was a faked reflection.

I think you need to stop the hand-wringing, SFH. The woody shot is a good set-up, nicely lit, and executed well. If someone thinks it's a fake, they'll ask the SC to validate...as long as you have the original, with EXIF intact and your editing steps recorded...who cares if someone thought it was faked? Even if that person voted down because of that presumption (I think it's clear the vast majority of voters don't do that), it's only one vote out of almost 200.

I do notice the filesize is, once again, half of what it could have been....have you figured out the save-for-web feature of Photoshop yet? You can even export to a specific filesize, and it will automtically calculate the quality setting for you.

Hi, yes, I have figured out how to save for web and did that for my Doors entry...

And I am still a newb, so every little low vote bothers me, as it probably did for everyone else when they first signed up...

But I have made my piece with it and moved on =)

don't worry =) i won't bug anyone else about whether I can trust the voters...

I have seen enough entries get DQ'd, and I'm sure that everyone else has too, so I'm sure that the majority of people vote on what they see and I'm sure they assume it is legal, because from what I have seen myself, is that if any entries DO turn out to be illegal, they WILL be DQ'd
