We're currently preparing for another expo for the business this weekend. We took a punt and decided to re-do all our display albums for the event. We normally use Ilford papers for most of our printing but thought we'd try out the Gold Fibre Silk paper for the albums. I can't speak highly enough of this paper. The results from our Epson Pro 3800 are outstanding in both colour and black & white. It is not the cheapest paper going around but the results we got are worth the money spent.

Just thought I'd share. Has anyone else tried this paper? If so, what's your opinion?

A few people at my local photographic society use the paper, and I have been impressed by the results. I think it is time I gave it a go - anyone in the UK able to recommend an internet supplier for photographic printer paper?

well, I would have liked to be printing on it now as we speak since I ordered that paper and ink from ITSupplies last week. But, for the 2nd time in a row they screwed up my order. First they said it had not shipped yet and did not know why. Then when I informed them this happened the last time, they claimed they were wrong it has shipped , split into 2 orders, one coming USPS, and one UPS. Yet they could not tell me what date the shipment went out, nor when I would receive it. They also messed up and sent the UPS package to the same address as the USPS one - even though my record with them shows I have to get USPS to one city/zip, and UPS to another due to where my USPS hub is out of. So the one package will end up being non-deliverable and get sent back to them. Grrrrr. Meanwhile I have an order waiting to be printed. :(
Time to find a new company to order from.
