China opening ceremony faked, fireworks too!
Wow the Chinese are not taking any chances to look their fake best. I don't think they're improving their image by doing everything possible to look good even using ad-libbing and fake fireworks videos.

Unless I missed it...in the OP link to the story you do not see this line:
He said the final decision to stage the event with Lin lip-synching to another girl's voice was taken after a senior member of China's ruling Communist Party politburo attended a rehearsal.
"He told us there was a problem that we needed to fix it, so we did," he said, without disclosing further details of the order.
