Spent the weekend backpacking on the Potowatomie Trail near Hell, Michigan. I think these flowers are Hepatica and wanted to share them. Any comments to improve them are encouraged. After the first couple shots I figured out I had to drop the backpack and wait a few minutes until the heavy breathing subsided.

Flowers from Hell.....funny! Anyway, I like the first one the best. If you clone out the object behind the top right pedal and sharpen the picture a bit, I think it's definitely frame-worthy. As for the other pics, I don't really care much for the mushroom...but that's just me. =)
