I've recently changed the lab I was using, and in this new one they have a lot of options for poster printing.
one of the most interesting ones they had there it was on alluminiium. they even got 2 types of alluminium: the regular on and Dibonde.
Any experience with this type of support for printing? I'm gessing the colors would be very different but in a cool type way. It could be good for some specific prints. Have someone ever tried it?

I print on alluminium. Its pretty cool with the right photos. You wouldn't want to print people but some landscape photos work really well. A b&w looks almost like an etching. There are alot more options than just 2 though, more like 6 or so. I'm really more into creating one of a kind pieces. I create my own substrate to print on, starting with Tyvec(house wrap). |

Thank's Niten.
I would love to know more about new cool printing surfaces.
