Well - I know this is a late announcement. We have just been busy. The family is headed to Allegheny State Park (Red House area) this coming Sunday for a week of vacation. We have 2 cabins rented and one of them will be mostly vacant the later half of next week. Last year we had a mini gtg ( dsterner came down for the day) and we wanted to open it up again this year. We could do a Friday night/Saturday thing and if anyone was interested they could spend the night in our spare cabin or something during the week. Overall though we are pretty flexible.

If you are interested in coming down post in this thread or shoot me a PM and I will throw out more firm details as we make them.

How about a link and some information about where the GTG will be held..........I can honestly say I have no idea where you are talking about.

That probably would be good. In our heads we are already there. Not thinking much beyond sitting by a fire.

Alleghney State Park - Red House Area

Its in SW New York on the border of NY and Bradford PA. We have two 4 room cabins rented on the Ryan trail - nestled in the woods by a stream. The cabins have a kitchentte, living room and 2 bedrooms. Electric - no water. Outhouses on the trail. Some excellent hiking and some cool places to visit.

bump - I'll meet up with Tim and Aimee and the kids. They are great fun! I am just trying to decide which day to show up. They are an hour away from me, so I might show up a lot! ...unless I get banned for cheating at that board game when I opt to draw my out LOL what's the name of that game? Gosh we had so much fun!

I am coming Saturday - if I leave 7ish, I'd be there by 9am. so leave a window of arrival time. Don't wait around for me though if the kids are inclined to want to go to the lake; there's plenty for me to do around the area. Post a note or spell it out with camp wood LOL

Bumb for a rising star. I would have gone, but my wife and I are going on a 1-day AAA tour and to dinner to celebrate our 25th Silver Anniversary.

The Hocking Hills State Park GTG was lots of fun.At least Alan Freed didn't have to eat mountain oysters on that gtg.

I hope to meet all of you again. There might be some horse for the Horse challenge near there.

This seems to be a recurring theme in a lot of threads I've been reading lately :P

Bummer I'm not going to be up that way this weekend. We spend a good bit of time within an hour or so of there on a regular basis since my wife's family is up that way.
