Here is the story about the meeting:
The set up is Matt is going to throw out the first ball at the Binghamton Mets baseball game in Binghamto, NY and the baseball game did not excite me at all BUT meeting MATT? OMG! He is the nicest, sweetest guy in the world and he smells soooooooooooooooo good! We got there early, waited in line and it was so worth the wait. He met me and my son James first, gave him a high five and asked his name so he could put it on the picture we printed out for him to sign. James is only 6 and was surprised that Matt knew how to spell his name, LOL! Matt took it all in stride and even posed for pictures. Then I had to spell my name for him, which he still got wrong, LOL, but he corrected it very quickly and all is well. When you look at the pictures you will see James is wearing a shirt that offers his annoying sister for sell. Matt even asked him if how much. I told James to tell him to make on offer on either one of them.
He noticed the photos were from his MySpace page and asked if we were friends on MySpace, I told him, "Oh yeah. I couldn't decide which picture I liked best so I took all the ones of you and Lucas and put them together." He seemed to like it. :)
Then I did something that my daughter Ellie said not to, but I couldn't help myself. I pulled out two little packets of mustard, you know the little ones you get to put on your burgers? I signed one for him and asked him to sign the other one for me, LOL! I couldn't resist!
Then my girls came up and they were so excited! And again, Matt so so nice and sweet.
And he did throw out the first pitch and did it quite well. From the mound right over the plate! WOOT!
Later we went to the arena and watched as the wrestlers arrived. I don't have all the pictures set up yet but Matt and Jeff did drive up and I got a shot of Jeff as he was going in. We didn't get to go to the show :( Just couldn't swing it with the money this time around, single mom, three kids, money can be tight but the day was still so worth and meeting Matt was the highlight of my year! I have to change my MySpace page because Matt was on my list of people I would like to meet and it has happened! Thank you Matt for some wonderful memories! You are the king!
So there you have the short version of the day! :)

Wow, that's very cool! Cute pics, your boy looks very excited! My boy would be very jealous, That's one of my his favorites (or is it the other Hardy boy, I forget), next to John Cena and The Undertaker. They had a Summerfest out here at Venice Beach on Saturday with Carlito and some others which my boy was itching to go to, but I had a wicked cold that I didn't want to fight the crowds with. I know, bad Daddy, I should've taken him. They had free photos with some of the Divas, should've gone just for that. What a Holiday card that would make! :-) |

I heard about that party, you should have gone! I found out late last night that both the Hardys stayed after the show signing autographs. I wanted to stay in town and try to catch them but the kids wanted to go home. That will be the last time I listen to the kids, LOL! :) |
