| I'm very new to this program and loving it. Just put a vid together for my sister. I successfully burned it to DVD. Pics look great on my TV... but there is something wrong with it. Where I have it zooming in on something in the program, it zooms to a different spot on the DVD. Also, it's wanting to rotate pictures that I didn't program to rotate. What's up with that??! |

I use Producer routinely, and have never had a problem with the zooming - it always goes where I tell it to.
With the rotation - are you talking about actually rotating (motion) while being shown, or are you talking about pictures coming up not rotated into portrait or landscape orientation? If it's motion rotation - make sure that it is not following an image that was rotated, and the motion was inadvertantly carried over to the next frame.
You said that you burned it to DVD, then watched it on TV. Is that where you discovered the problems? Did you preview it in Producer before burning it? I always preview MULTIPLE times in PSP to catch all the glitches. And believe me, glitches will happen without you realizing it! |

Yeah, I watched it several times in full before burning as well as 100 times while making it. It can't be an accidental carry-over of the motion.
The preview looks just like I want it, but most of the pics are rotating (which may account for the misplaced zooms) in the DVD. I also tried a different output, saving it as a flash file, and it does the same. I can't figure it out.
It's either a software error or a very huge brain fart on my end (which is actually more plausible).

Wow, that's really odd. I've burned a lot of DVDs from Proshow Producer and have never seen one do anything but what the preview has done.
Okay, one tiny exception: on the TV the images are cropped in tighter than what the preview shows. But if you look at the design screen it shows you gray marks to delineate the "safe zone" of what will fit on the TV screen.

Over the years I have seen my shows on many different TV screens,...and dependant on the screen ratio will determine how much crop is on each show.
