Like everything else, McCain would just get his staff to do it. |

Based on Obama's waffling back and forth on the drilling for oil situation, he probably flip-flops between Canon and Nikon regularly. ;-)

When I first saw this photo - as an Obama supporter I was just a fraction of a smidge embarrased. But look at the guy's hands! They are huge.
Perhaps those giant fingers get in the way of the auto focus of that lens? Anyone know what lens that is? Let's not jump to conclusions and say he's completely wrong to hold it like that.

McCain would have to ask the Republican Party leaders if he should use Canon or Nikon. |

We all have our hobbies. Obama's hobby doesn't seem to be photography. No need to make fun of him. I'd like to see you guys play basketball. ;-)
(And a side question: Why are threads always moved to "Rant" as soon as a discussion starts?) |

politics + emotion = rant, apparently.

I thought that this was satire and laughed, but then read the rest of the thread and everyone seems to have taken it literally.

Ahem, I generally dont like to get involved in threads like this, but I will stand up for the US here and say they dont torture prisoners for information these days, thats an incredibly unfair accusation..
They just outsource it to India like everything else.
I thankya. |

As an outsider without much of an opinion on the presidential race, I also thought this was satire. I heard the voice of Bill Murray or Dan Aykroyd as I read it.

Press photographer covering President McCain. |

You have obviously not been paying any attention to the race. Here let me summarize....
Obama talks about issues,
McCain Talks about Obama.
Here look at the polls...
Here is what it looks like when you don't just assume that the popular vote wins.

I think YOU haven't been paying attention.
Obama talks about 'hope, butterflies, and world peace'
McCain spoofs Obama.
Then Obama keeps having to remind us that he is black and 'doesn't look like the other presidents'.
McCain calls Obama out on using racist Card.
RINSE, WASH REPEAT
Neither one of them are talking about the issues. But McCain really doesn't have to do much to spoof Obama. Jib Jab pretty much hit the core of Obama's message and depth with their video.

You need to stop watching Fixed Noise, anyone who can look at McCain and trust a word he says is dense. Why do people talk about hope as if it a bad thing. Our country has fallen into shambles and people still trust the Republicans. I am neither a Dem Or Rep so I am not blinded by partisan crap. Once they get into office they follow party lines, and Republicans have done nothing but make the rich richer and the poor broke. I feel sorry for anyone who still calls themselves a Republican. How embarassing! So next time you want to accuse me of not paying attention, go pay attention to accual facts rather then spew your right wing, red state crap.

I'll be interested to hear your opinion when you're all growed up. Til then keep in mind that just because others (MANY others, mind you) don't agree with your point of view, doesn't give you the right to spew your ignorant ranting at them.
It's really this sweeping generalizations and dispersions cast by both sides that keeps things from moving forward. Stop relying on / blaming government and focus on your own actions, behavior and attitudes. |

I don't remember talking to you. My opinion is that of an adult thank you. Growed up is the wrong use of grammar, so go get a 6th grade education and then write back. Learn that blurting out into a conversation you are not a part of will automatically void your opinion to me.

The grammatical error was intentional - twying to speak in a mannew in which you can undewstand.
You make sweeping, disparaging statements aimed at a very large group of people - expect to get smacked back.

You keep making yourself look like a fool. Still waiting to feel slapped. Just deal with the fact that I have an opinion and it is not yours. Quit making yourself look hot headed and childish. Or you can choose to continue and keep me amused. It's funny how you talk all pompus and enlightened, and then tell me that I am being pompus. I have an opinion and last time I checked I was still allowed to express that opinion.

1.) You claim to NOT be partisan, yet you are so in the tank for Obama that you failed to realize that I never said anything positive about McCain in my last post. Nor did I say that I 'trusted' him.
2.) Hollow hope is a bad thing. Building up a false sense of hope without a real world way to achieve it is a bad thing. Talking up hope without a real plan IS A BAD THING. Hope needs to have an end game but it ALSO MUST HAVE A WAY TO ACHIEVE IT!!
3.) You think the Democrats don't follow party lines? Maybe you should pull your head out of Obama's arse and take a look at his voting record. He is the MOST LIBERAL Senator in the United States. He hasn't sided with the Republicans on any majaor issue and he has ABSOLUTELY NO RECORD of trying to cross party lines. He has said alot of pretty words and made alot of great speechs about crossing the aisle...but he has never put those words into action.
4.) The Democrats idea of 'stealing from the rich to give to the poor' isn't the American Way. Why should a rich person have to pay more taxes than me? Yes, social programs are a good idea in THEORY...but people take advantage way too much. There should be a 4-5 year minimum of social programs to get you on your feet..if you are in college or lose your job...after that we should cut you off and let you fend for yourself. (Small edit, we should offer medical and food help to pregnant people that need it)
5.) Again, you claim no partisianship..then slam republicans. Not only odd..but it makes you a liar. Again, what red state, right winger crap have I been spewing? Besides the fact that Obama has no depth in his message....
