So...
how many out there have run into the roadblock of having a wonderful challenge idea 'pop' into your head only to have reality brick slam into your head because (A) props are too expensive (B) props may be difficult to get (C)Set up would be WAAAAAYYYYY too complex and/or (D) Models with a specific look and/or scene setting is not attainable ???????
My case in point: Very first idea that 'popped' into my warped head for the Cardboard Challenge
Cardboard Parachute - NOT a good idea!
Great idea BUT:
One would need 4 cinderblocks, a HUGE sheet of super strong plexiglass that is still see-through, a very long pole attached to the roof to suspend the box, a large box, lots of rope extending from the box to the model like a parachute, someone to hold a blow-dryer and one model.
The camera & photographer will be underneath the plexiglass platform right underneath the model. The camera̢۪s orientation will be to shoot up such that it will be looking up at the clear blue sky. The composition will end up looking like the model has jumped from a plane with a cardboard box as the parachute.
Tooo much $$$ and tooo complex of a set-up time wise

My idea for that challenge was to stack a whole lot of boxes to the back of a bicycle, then have someone ride the bike down a narrow road near here. It would be in B&W.
Too much preparation...

Sounds like a cool idea - in fact I can visualize your concept with the person on the bicycle being a mailman dressed in 1940's uniform:-) |

Only parts of the legs would be visible because there would be so many boxes hiding the rest of the cyclist... ;-Þ
