How do you like your Prius? I'm very strongly considering buying one. ANY complaints whatsoever?

Love it. Had it a year and put 20,400 miles on it. Backroads, mountain roads, city driving, and freeway boring stuff. Hasn't cost me a cent except for a few sips of gas. All service is free. I just went to the Mohavi, 1600 miles of driving, got 48.5 mpg and spent $75 on gas. Not bad, I'd say with gas around $2.20 around here.

What a nice way to save for more lenses.

Are the people who are watching their scores very closely also noticing any time pattern between the 1's? Such as receiving a 1 score every 15 minutes etc. The whole low points thing does seem to be unusually different and if people are receiving a vast number of ones it would be interesting to see if they are spaced evenly apart.

Haven't really been timing it but I have been hit by quite a few ones. Think they'd pick up on it if it was a bot, wouldn't you?

My brain isnt what it use to be (I'm old), but I'm pretty sure I've never received 101 votes on the first day of a members' challenge before. Is it because it's a free study or am I grasping at straws still?

It's not so much their spacing, it's that I see 1 on each of my 2 challenges at nearly the same time.

Was blessed to get hit by 2 (possily 3)in a row on Out of Place a little while ago....about the same time 2 happened with 1 vote between them on the Free Study.

I know Motion Blur has been hit hard...in the 3's now, but haven't been keeping tabs as it was just a last minute entry for me, but it had held 4.4 all day yesterday.

No there is definitely something wrong with this otherwise why would I have gotten 42 votes on the Motion Blur challenge this late in the game, especially with an extra challenge to vote on. I think someone owes it to us to give us an heads up on what's going on. It stinks big-time.

Two more hours and (crossing fingers) all will be back to normal!!!

Been quiet on votes....none in a while (dinner breaks)
But of course I just got simultaneous 1's in both Out of Place and Free Study......AGAIN....

I'd love to know what my score will be for real. These were the 2 entries I was psyched about.

April Fools jokes are supposed to stop at midday. I'm afraid that your predicament is for good. ;)

still getting a 1 in Free Study about every 15 minutes, but I can't quite time it. I was getting them every two votes earlier, but now I get 3 or so in-between.

Yeah, this sucks!
My out of place is no where as well photographed as my free study... it is not as well composed or planned.... and it is kicking my MFS's butt! I just don't get it!

I too noticed that my MFS has 2 comments telling me how great it is, yet I am at a 4.5.... WTH? I am so confused!?!?!?

I'm still getting a "1" about every three or four votes in the MFS challenge. Many times I seem to get a "1" almost the same time in both MFS and Motion Blur.

Over the past 18 votes in the Motion Blur challenge I have received nine ones.

If my current score for March FS stands, it will be my lowest ever at about 3.75!! OMG, it's weird, I hope this is some kind of April Fools gag and it jumps up a few points tomorrow. LOL.

I'm sitting with 9 comments...ALL POSITIVE....for out of place challenge and my average is 4.45...I ask you..is this normal?? How is it that you can see what votes your getting? I would like to track mine if I knew how.
04/01/2004 11:10:04 PM · #196
Ok,
Here's the results of my last 16 votes for the march free study challenge
7 7 7 1 7 8 1 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 1 7

I'm not usually one for conspiracies - but WHAT THE ????
Oh well - hopefully all the 1's will be nullified at the end of the voting and I'll end up with a 7.1 :)

Spreadsheet.
If Column B contains the number of votes, and Column C contains the average score for each vote total, like this:

Then the formula to calculate the interim score (in Column D) is:

=((B3*C3)-(B2*C2))/(B3-B2)

This formula would appear in cell D3 (where the number 7.00 appears above). Note that Column A is not shown...

Make sense?

How is it that you can see what voters are giving you?
04/01/2004 11:15:52 PM · #199
This is what I do to track my scores - it's crude but it works. You have to hit refresh at least every three minutes or something.

Time 1: Multiply the number of votes by the average score = Product 1.

Time 2 (when number of votes changes): multiply number of votes by average score = Product 2.

Subtract Product 1 from Product 2 = the vote for that time period/

As I said it's crude but it will give you an idea what score you garnered for that time period. :-).

$25.00 buys the button. Update everytime you press it. It good but not good at the same time.
