Anybody have any idea on what i can do to minimize the strobe umbrella reflections in the glass? Maybe this isn't the best way to light this??? Thanks.

To avoid them altogether use backlighting or light it from the sides parallel to the subject preferrably with a softbox or strip light so the reflections you do get produce a contoured look which is more preferrable than a spotlight in the front like in that photo.
Something like this:

Although I wouldn't use an umbrella if I was bouncing the light.

That's exactly why softboxes are preferred for product work. |
