Anyone else intrigued? Fairly large (for a compact) sensor, fast 24-60mm f/2-2.8 lens, fully manual controls... Oh, and Leica glass. Sounds like this could easily become one of the best compact cameras on the market... Now I'll be sold if it can actually produce bokeh :O

For sure - RAW, Manual & a hot shoe.... Need more info but looks like a nice option and does widescreen also. I have been planning on getting a G9 for P&S types (and playing with electronic shutter with strobes) but have not got there yet.... Worth watching in case it as match or better then the Canon.

I am still using my first two digital cameras. Both Panasonic Lumix.
I have taken some fantastic photos with them.
Check out my profile if you want.

the lens are amazing - F2.0!
and 24mm is as wide as it gets on a compact.
but main worry - will the sensor keep up? I cant imagine being stuck with ISO100 again as in my previous Panny :(

Stuck with ISO 100? You mean, you want it to go lower? I'm just confused by that statement.

I think he is suggesting that the high ISO sucks and would have to shoot at ISO 100 to keep the noise in check.
