I have been out of the hobby for a while as happens. I am gaining a renewed interest and took a few shots this morning. This one is untouched, no post processing other than white balance to "shade" on the raw nef. I am very interested in your opinions. I used the sb-800 off shoe and in wireless mode, no flash on the camera, just using the integrated flash as the trigger. Shutter priority.

I agree with the tighter crop to lose the distractions, also the washed out skin tones from the flash. I think photo would look good in B&W. Maybe something like this:
