I was taking my pictures off my computer (Dell) and saving them to a disk and the computer just shutdown by itself and when it decided to restart, my pictures were gone and the disk keeps coming up as blank. Is there any way that I can get my pics back? |

Remote diagnosis is difficult, so I recommend you have an expert study both your computer and the disk.
I also had a similar problem once. Since then I always copy files (instead of moving or cutting-pasting). If anything goes wrong, the originals are still there and you can start over. You can still remove the files at their original location once you are sure the copied ones are ok. |

That's how I normally do it, but I thought I would try and save some time. Silly me! |
