I am testing a website I'm building and get a weird layout on one page using Firefox/2.0.0.15 and the most recent version of Safari. Would anyone mind taking a look at this page and let me know what is happening with the scroll box you see and if the links are affected by it. I really appreciate the help!!

This is what I see when I look at the webpage

I see the same thing in both browsers, and none of the links work. I don't know enough about web programming to tell you why, though.

Thank you so much Scalvert!!! I thought I was going crazy ... back to tweaking I guess ... this might take awhile because I can't figure it out and neither can another designer that's trying to help with it.

Tried it from my wife's G4 running Panther and Firefox 2.0.0.15. Same results. Looks just like your screenshot and the links don't work.

Edit to say/ask...

Miyama USA

Use the icon above the response box that looks like a globe. Ok, you said you are. I've had that oddness happen a couple of times as well. It's probably not you.

I've had a quick look, and your links don't work because the "pad2" div is on top of the "menu" div. I'd guess this is because your menu div has something like float in it's style, so it collapses it's borders and appears to have no size, although the content gets displayed anyway.

Try posting your problem on the W3 Schools Forum as there are lots of helpful experts on CSS and the float problem.
