Results Updated ΓΆ€“ Here is Your Updated List of Survivors after Week 1:

Congrats to all who made it through. There are now 43 survivors remaining for week 2, not counting those who are still waiting on their Free Study scores. levyj413 led the way in the open challenges, using his last minute Still Life entry to score a 6.6598, besting his average by nearly a full point. beckydi squeaked by with an entry just .0534 above her average (Big congrats!), while  PDavis led the disappointment brigade with a score that landed just 0.0095 below his average (Dang!).

Doesn't really matter (only for the waaaay higher difference to my avg.), but I thought I chose Free Study for this week (PMed you)? |

37 vote check in..............and I'm 1.2 below my avg. I knew my shot probably wouldn't do well, but I didn't think it would be in the 4's. Oh well, good luck to everyone else this week.
I can see myself avoiding the update button this week.
Oops, hit it. 38 votes and it went down again. :(

That you did ... and the scores spreadsheet even reflects that! Thanks for pointing that out, I'll go correct the OP, so you can wait one more day to survive!

Hmmm, not a great score in the Evening challenge, but far enough above my average that I'm pretty sure I'm secure for the second week.

| Well.. I'm still in teatering on the edge of destruction (5.1348 and falling on free study).. lol should have used my still life for this challenge.. My evening shot started out strong last night with a 7.0 with 10 votes.. I got all excited hehe.. and now fell to 4.95.. OUCH! |

Well, I will make it though the first week with somewhere around a 6.1 .....but my morning pic has boomed. under my avg by .4..........good while it lasted

Scores fixed, two users who had opted for FS (eyewave and Ecce Signum) were mistakenly listed as survivors based on their open challenge scores, and several more were mistakenly listed in the scores spreadsheet as having not survived for the same reason. Everything should be fixed now.
The new and improved list of week 1 survivors (41 total, not including FS):

No probs Dennis, Lawn sneaked in about 0.04 above my average and the FS is currently .7 above :)
As for week 2 I'm so very glad I snuck in the Fallen shot (+.4) as my open challenge is .9 below my average!

To say I'm thrilled with my week 1 result would be a major understatement. :)
So far I'm doing fine in week 2, about 0.3 above my average in Morning. No ribbons this week, though!
And I'm all set for my "Your Occupation" shot, so for the first time, I'll be in the member challenge for this side tourney. |

| It is clear that I will drop out of the challenge this week. My Morning score is 1.3 points below my average and appears ready to challenge my lowest score and potentially the brown. Truly didn't see this coming. |

Congrats everyone who survived, it was nice playing with you, and wouldn't you know it I have my first photo that is voting above 6 this late into it's first day.

| Well oh well, it looks like it will be over for me. There's no problem with my 1st week entry in the free study, but my entry in "Morning II" is well below my average... too much "Outside the box" or people thinks it's evening :) |

My FS is +.7 over my average but Morning II is -.83 so ya can cross me off the survivors list.

| My FS is sitting half a point below my average, so Wk 1 is the end of the line for me - shame as, to my great suprise, my Fallen is a full point above! Good luck to all of you who are still in. |

| FS is at 5.4539 and I've been getting big bumps on rollver lately, so there is still a slim chance I can make it past week 1 (I need a 5.5). My Fallen entry is sitting at 5.1, though, so my hope of getting any farther than that is nil! |
