I'm not complaining -- still a personal best score, but wow, that was a quick dip...

LOL - no offense taken. (Well except I'm offended that my score is so low - and getting worse!)

Umm, yes there was a recipe - the finshed product is shown flanked by nearly all the ingredients! I was going to show it w/ a beverage, but thought that might bring on the DNMC police. Guess it wouldn't have mattered.

Thanks, Donna21.

I think it's been raining on everyone's parade. I've seen my stuff plummet before, but never so intensively. (Down about zero point five).

Hmmm, tis seems I am in the boat with everyone else when it comes to the score dropping. Not to happy with that but if there is anything wrong in the state of Denmark then the scrubber and SC will catch it.

And speaking of things dropping - a glass jar of garlic vinegar fell out of the pantry and smashed all over the kitchen floor. Seriously. Just mopped up the mess but does anyone know how to get the stink of it gone???

try baking soda in water to wash the vinegar spot, will neutralize the acid in the vinegar.
Good luck!

Mine has dropped from a .444 to a .1391 since this morning... ruining my day...
07/17/2008 10:15:50 PM · #83
No, no, Never let it ruin your day - you gotta neutralize it with something and soda.
07/17/2008 10:19:12 PM · #84
I'm going to neutralize it with some sleep! Hopefully the other side of the world is kind to me while voting tonight...

You could always rub some grape juice on it.

Nope, no oxiclean. Looked around and no more baking soda left Bergiekat. Looks like a trip to the market on the morrow. Til then washed the floor twice with Pine-Sol so tis slightly smelly and slightly stick now.

HEH - maybe I should cover the floor with sugar draw patterns in it and take that as my shot of the Sugar challenge:-) :-) :-)

On the score front not much has moved. Off to leave a comment or two now before bed.

lemon juice always works, it has the acid to cut through the oil and takes away the smell of garlic. If you ever get garlic or fish smells on your wooden cutting board or your hands etc this is what the Chefs use to get rid of the smell

I'm beginning to think food pictures are a lot like food, when you first post them, they're wonderful.
The next day they're leftovers and go down hill from there.

Oh, boy, I laughed for a while when I read that. Good stuff. And, agreed.

I actually just finished the leftovers from my challenge entry last night (and when you see what my challenge entry was, you'll think I'm either very brave or very stupid to have kept (and consumed) leftovers this long...) :D

Awesome! Congrats to you, too! That's got to be a good shot, to beat your hummingbird.
