Happy Birthday Jeb! If you can become more healthy and get more sucess at your photography and be 10 years older than I am, it helps give me hope! Congrats on all your recent successes, you worked hard for them and they are fully deserved. Don't forget to smell the roses. (not the trolls....)

Ok ummm let's see if I get this all straight...
Christian, have tons o' fun with the move - just leave stuff behind, don't pack it! Too much work!
Lea, good luck in the TRU interview, sounds perfect for a mom of 3 kids!
Jeb, Boo, Bear and all other Leos...happy birthday and big hugs from me, Druli and Lily!
Ernie, have fun with the light tent, and don't get up to anything I wouldn't do in your predicament ;-)
Think I got everyone, have to work a night shift Sat. from 7pm-6am Sun. Boy, do I know how to have fun or what? |

Horses have a night shift???
Thanks for leaving it entirely open on the light tent Susan. I might try to contact one of those 20-somethings and see if she fits!

Ummm err I didn't mean horses...though yes, I have stayed up all night tending to colicky horses but they don't get sick on schedule...
I'm resuming a previous career on a p/t basis; like horses it's potentially quite dangerous, but unlike horses, pays well...*stocking up on No-Doz and energy drinks*
Good luck with the 20-somethings Ernie!

Wow! This looks like a good all 'round time for the TSers!
Change, excitement, happy about life, doors opening, life just rockin' along!
I sure am damn glad to be here!
I'm makin' a big ol' pot o' pasta salad for a picnic tomorrow......an appreciation party for a bunch of us at the church for hosting homeless for the month of December at our church to help the local shelters.
A rewarding, and all too enlightening experience for us all.
Makes you *really* grateful to have problems like not scoring a 6.0, or having trouble remembering to reset your ISO.
Life is good!
Y'all have a great weekend!

Thanks, Deb!
Funny things is......having had the bejeezes scared outta me by my doctor, and consequently losing 110 pounds and getting in shape, I feel better than I have in about twenty years.
I'm going to go buy *another* new belt today......ten inches shorter than the one I was wearing when my doc said "Change or die.".
Gotta love that!
Oh.....in case anyone cares, I've updated my bio now that I've been here two years, Here

It's heartwarming and a little humbling to know that in this crazy, screwed-up world there are a handful of people with their priorities straight, and they just happen to be right in the same "Sweet Home" with you.
In the past couple of weeks, I have received chocolate from both krnodil and melethia, and I can now say without hesitation that these are the two finest human beings in the history of humanity. Mere moments after delectating the final precious bite of Karen's chocolate, the mail brings forth European mannah from the heavens of Deb's generosity.
I know that as your Fearless Leader, many of you look to me for examples of fine behavior, the sort of thoughts and deeds that will put you on the path to true happiness. Well, you need look no further than these two paragons of virtue.
Let us all bow down to these heroines, nay goddesses, of Team Suck. |

You do know that I actually had to go to Belgium to get the Belgian chocolate, right? And of course the German chocolate came from Germany. Couldn't fit Switzerland into the schedule.... maybe next time! :-) |

What was the manager thinking, leaving before he/she had a chance to meet the best-est employee ever, are they insane??
Did you at least get a chance to talk to someone about a job? Did you set up another appointment with the manager. Did they at least apologize to you for the manager not being there?
It will all work out, you'll see.
Positive thoughts are coming your way.

Could be an honest reason. If not you tell them I'm coming over for a chat.
they won't like that! |

but a few seconds of sheer panic.

LOL! Not at you, but with you. Been there, though not at a wedding!
Kashi, if they're that disorganized, I think you need to be the manager. :-) |
