| Just a heads up if you've been considering picking up this tasty bit of software, Adorama has it on sale for $219.00. |

| I got V2 free with the Intuos Wacom Tablet... What's so special about V3? Err, the more important question is what is $219 better about V3? |

That is one set of filters that truly rocks.
I can't imagine having Photoshop without it. |

I believe the upgrade price is much lower... v3 has a whole new UI which is tons better than v2. Worth the upgrade.

| Great price, 3 is a quantum leap over 2. I'd give up every plug-in before this set. |

Me too! I love them. Did you see their new product Nik Silver Efex? It's a B&W filter set. I downloaded the trial last night. Awesome! |

| Saw that, afraid to try it, holler back how you like it and whether it's a big improvement on the BW toning in 3.0. Tried Viveza and didn't think it was worth buying, but would feel different if I didn't own Color Efex Complete. Started with the 1.0 "select" edition on that one, I think it came with my tablet. |

A Color Efex Pro 3.1 updater for Photoshop was just released, as well as 3.0 for Capture NX 2.
Nik also just released Silver Efex Pro (for Photoshop and Aperture) for BW conversion (includes U Point technology).
