my submision for magazine cover did pretty badly.. but i still love that piece of work i created so much that i needed to bring it to your attention one more time and see if i can get some positive remarks this time...

I think it's great... how did you do it?
probably the reason people marked down was it was landscape |

As discussed in this thread, DPC is more about photography and less about "artsy things you can do in Photoshop". Your picture looks very "digital art" to me, and just doesn't maintain photographic integrity in my humble opinion. |

I'm with Eddy there... this is much less a photo than it is a digital rendering. |

Like others have said, if it had been a digital art contest it would have done well. No doubt, it is very creative and well done. It just doesn't suit the taste of the majority of DPCers.

I agree with the others - it just doesn't look like a photo and DPC is about photography. It's very much digital art... well done though. |
