Do any of you find it that prints dont come out the same way they appear on the screen?
I havent experienced this yet, but I have realized that they do get cropped when they are printed. Is there a way to avoid this?
I also have been told by people that prints dont always appear the same colors as the screen photos do. |

If you crop your images on the computer to the dimensions of the print, at 300 dpi, then there is hardly ever any cropping (sometimes a sliver of an edge, but that's all).
As for colors, if you calibrate your monitor then your prints usually come out with the right colors. I use a Huey on my monitor and all my Mpix.com orders match great - and when I place the orders I specifically tell them NOT to color correct them.
If you're printing on your own printer, I understand that you can calibrate the printer as well, so that it and the monitor match.
