Thus far my pic is getting solid 4's. Not a problem, I didn't expect it to win, however with over 100 views and just short of that on votes, there has been only 1 comment. Comments are greatly appreciated by folks like me who have limited equipment, and even more limited experience. Please leave (helpful) comments to help me improve and make the best of what I have to use.

I agree that comments are a bit light right now here in DPC land- I am in Landscape and my score is pretty high and the number of comments is low. My best recommendation is to post to this thread after the challenge is over and ask for comments. Most will be happy to provide comments, especially when people are specifically asking for them. I think there is a hesitancy to provide comments in large open challenges because some photogs that enter shots get upset if they have a negative/ constructive comment.
And furthermore - make some comments on the challenges to remind people that comments are good. Nothing like giving in order to receive....

Did you check the box on your entry asking for an in depth review? There is still time if you haven't.
Then after the challenge it will be put into the que for the Critique Club. |
