Just a quick power outage. Good thing I saved in PS before it happened. Couple steps gone but better then an hour wasted. |

Always prudent to save often!
Also, for those in areas where power glitches are common (isn't that almost everywhere??) a UPS (uninterruptible Power Supply) is really a very good idea. Both of our family PCs run on UPSs, I can work right through power outages as long as several minutes.
A *good* UPS also provides near-perfect line isolation, much better protection than "surge suppressors". A UPS will protect against overvoltage, undervoltage, line noise and spikes (a surge supressor only protects against spikes).
