Very traditional bridal portrait.

I can see some things I would do slightly differently as far as taking the shot, however I'm looking not for how to take the shot differently - but if there is anything I can do to make what has already been taken better? I will say that it is sharper than it appears here.

I kinda figure this type of shot is a "bread and butter" shot and I want it to be the best it can be. Thank you for any comments. If you think it's fine the way it is, then I'd like to know that as well. I will return any comment you leave with one of my own on one of your shots. Thanks for the help.

I hope you don't mind... I gave it a quick wash...
I'm no wedding photographer, but I agree with many of the comments given. There is still too much orange in the image for my taste. How's this?

Only thing that I see, is that her head looks far too small in this picture. It's relating to the perspective rather than size, as the image looks like it is leaning away at the top. Using CS2's Distort, Lens Correction tool, the vertical perspective can be shifted a touch, then Image, Transform, Skew and adjust the parallels & perspective in final form, then re-croppped.

This is just a quickie, but you'll see what I mean:

I don't mind at all! I have to say though, that this one goes too far the other way for my tastes. As far as color, I think I like my last edit the best. I might change my mind tomorrow when I look at it again. I think one thing I don't care for in this edit is the loss of color in the windows.

Thanks for taking the time to show me what you mean though.

Brad, I think I understand what you mean, but I don't think I have the PS know how to pull off what you're talking about. If I understand, you're saying that the camera perspective makes her head as though she is leaning back away from it some? I might play around with it and see if I can learn something :)

No problem... like I said, I am not a wedding photographer. I have no doubt you have a better grasp on what works in this area than I. As for the windows losing too much color, that could obviously be omitted from the editing.

Here are two more of the same bride. A little more casual, done just before the ceremony as many of our outdoor shots got rained out :(

The b/w one was my freestudy entry that didn't fare so well.

Thanks for all of the input. I'm still working on the photos, but it really does help to have fresh eyes taking a look!
