I'm completely stumped. A photographer gave me a CD of raw files (.CR2 format) and I can't even view the thumbnails. I'm running Windows Vista 64-bit, and most of the downloadable RAW thumbnail viewers are for Vista 32-bit and XP.
I've tried opening up the CD in Adobe Photoshop CS2 (plug-ins are downloaded, so should be able to open CR2 files), tried opening them up in Adobe Bridge, Windows Photo Gallery, and the disk drive of course. Nothing works, the properties show that there is a ton of information on the disk, but won't display any files to open.
I'm in need of some expert advice...
Thanks!

The codec for .CR2 files does not work with Vista 64 bit. I would recommend trying to use Canon Digital Photo professional software to view them.
