Fujifilm FinePix S100FS
Would this be a good camera to change to I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ30
Much appreciat anyone who can help

Th real question is, what is driving you to change? The FZ30 is a very well-respected camera. Give us an idea of what about the FZ30 is not meeting needs, and then we'd have a better basis for judging which way you might want to go.
With regard to the S100FS, do look at the DPReview review, and pay specific attention to the conclusions. Although it die well in some areas, it did quite poorly in others, namely with respect to chromatic aberration. |

I researched it a bit as a potential upgrade from my Powershot S5, but have since bought an SLR. It looks very capable and is nearly an SLR. Biggest downside is that the sensor, though about twice the size as most compacts, is still much smaller than what an SLR provides. It remains to be seen if Fuji was able to get near-SLR image quality out of it. Looks to be a good choice if you don't want to hassle with additional 壉‚¬n$€$.
Here are links to some Flickr groups dedicated to that camera. I know the Canon S5 group I belong to is a wealth of information and honest opinions. You may be able to get similar straight talk from one of these groups. The first one appears to be the biggest right now.
