Why does the portfolio page rate entries by average vote? My Parallel entry closed @5.422 giving me 99/327 or in the 70th percentile (winner = 8.275) and is shown after my Magazine Cover which closed @5.904 giving me 53/147 or in the 64th percentile winner = 8.733).

This dosn't make sense to me when the winning vote differs from challenge to challenge but the object is to end up in the 100th percentile. The comparison of photos from different challenges based on average vote is simply not valid.

How about a choice in the preference page.

Although one can't correlate the average vote received with placement, since the quality of images and thus the average for the highest rated images varies significantly challenge-to-challenge, it is still valid to compare the average score for individual photos, since they were scored on the same scale.
The Profile page shows "highest rated" which is different than "highest placing".
I think "highest rated" is actually a better way to track things.
