I just purchased CS3 finally after running Elements 4 for a couple of years. I have an iMac with the following specs.

I have been using Nik Color Effex filters, Lucis Arts and Alien Skin exposure with Elements 4 and have transferred them over to CS3. Or at least I have tried! No success with Lucis, Nik and Alien Skin have transferred OK, but when I try to use the Nik Color, I get a message telling me insufficient RAM.

Now this surprises me, as I thought it should run quite fine with 2 Gb RAM. I haven't had a problem with using it together with Elements. I tried changing the ram settings in PS, but this doesn't seem to have an effect. I had no other programs running apart from CS3.

I have browsed the forums but couldn't find what I was looking for, so hopefully this is not a duplicate post.

Anybody got any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Well, it's amazing what happens if you delete things and reinstall from scratch. I think I've licked it now. Thanks anyway and sorry for spamming the forum!
