It would be interesting at least a couple times a year to have challenges, when the entries are forced to purely 'picturally' (visually, without words) speak for themselves concerning the topic. I believe, in general titles have important role in the art of photography, however, when shooting for a topic-based challenge, one might consider the challenge title the working title for all entries, and the voting this way would be principally directed to rate how the entries conveyed the topic visually. The entries would not need to be without individual titles, but those would be hidden for the voting period. I think, this type of challenge would be good practice for pure photographic self-expression... Sure, it could have downsides too, but it could be refreshing once in a while.
