For those looking for something to do before rollover. I did an engagement shoot over the long weekend and I would appreciate some feed back on the photo's... FYI if she looks a little pudgy the girl is 5 months pregnant.
Thanks

I like both of the black and white shots the best. Most of them seem to have very harsh lighting that makes them squint and also washes out a lot of facial detail. The only one I really dislike is the one shot from under the hands / bust of the girl. Just doesn't work for me at all.
I like the expressions in the first one, but again there the light is really harsh. Looks like a pretty location, but just need to work on better lighting. Hope that helps. |

wish I could control the sun more...lol... this shoot was done at about 3:00 (think high noon) and it was the only time they had (not my ideal) then again in calgary the best light is at about 6-9am and 9-10pm... most of my clients don't want to shoot either of those times... that said I did try to use as much shade as I could, but most of the nice structures around didn't allow for it. |
