My wife and I are going to the Poconos, planning to take some hikes etc. I'm looking for good places to shoot. Ideas? I've never been there.
Looks like there are some nice falls--bushkill, Dingmans Falls, ...
What's the best bets there if I have very limited shooting time. (And I noticed the park neither opens at sunrise, nor stays open late enough for sunset. :(
Let me know what you like--pictures would be helpful too!

LOL, it's a great place! There are lots of spring feed lakes, waterfalls, etc. Beautiful scenery. But it's also a huge area. I haven't been for years, and it changes with all the condo's and whatnot being built, so I really can't help too much there. |

there is a neet restored train station in cresco----if you like to hike you could get possibly some wildlife and landscapes from mt. tammany right in the gap---there lots of little interesting places here and there but nothing major--you know a place to spend 1/2 a day just shooting that i can think of off the top of my head---sorry---if you are in to trains steam town is in scranton about 40 min. north and i think they are still running a train to tobyhanna which is right at the top of the mtn.
