Hola Teammates !!!

Sugarpie has graciously asked me to be team captain as she's having some computer issues. I'm happy to accept the position if everyone on our team agree's. :-) Please let me know if this is a spot you had your heart set on and I will be happy to trade spaces. In the mean time, here is a listing of our "unofficial roster". I only say that because the front page has yet to be updated with our most recent additions. Here's what we've got:

kandykarml
sugarpie
Trinch
Tpbremer
Truegsht
Geinafets
JamesKW
Tonyt

That makes 8, so we're full. I downloaded the templates for the jersey's, but to be totally honest, I have no idea how to edit them or what to change them to. I think we should open the forum for idea's on what we want our colors to be and what we want the logo's to be. I did not participate in the last DPC Olympics so I have no idea where & how these jersey's are used, so I'm kinda in the dark here.

If you want to download the template and have at it, then I say go for it. If no one here is comfortable with making them, I believe Yanko stated he would be happy to help if it's needed.

My e-mail address is MrsBillyJack@yahoo.com. Please e-mail me at anytime. I will send all of you a PM to let you know this forum is now here. I'm excited to see what the first challenge will bring us and I hope everyone participates as much as possible.

Talk to you all soon !!!

Kristin

Hello there, I am sneaking a peak at your lounge to see if it is as cool as ours. Damn you have chairs!

The front page has been changed to reflect that you are full and i will change the Captains name next.

Basically the shirts will be a team banner to put on your homepage and you can have individual shirts for your signature if you want.

The rollover is tommorrow, so you have a full week to take your shots for the start of the first round.

Good Luck!!

Hello. Newest team member checking in.

I will take a look at the template and see if I could do anything.

I'll try to get to it tonight. If everyone can provide me with the number of choice (PM or post) I will whip up some shirts. I also realized I forget to write 'Mexico' on the shirt.

Hey I think the jersey is super cool and that there is no need to write Mexico unless it's on the rules or something. It is pretty obvious :¬)

Sad I didn't realise this was open. Not visiting DPC as often as I should!! darn

I like them as well....if I get a choice of number... 22 or 4 will work. Two of my fav numbers for some reason.

Also...what is the 1st challenge?

Hello Team Mexico!! I've been overrun with spyware/adware/anyothertypeofware lately, it happens when I open up a search site like google, I get instant pop ups and about ten pop ups every five minutes thereafter, I am working on it though!

Thank you Kandy for taking over. Trinch you did an awesome job on that jersey!! I would like the number 16 please!

As far as challenges go I cannot wait to get started on this. I look forward to seeing everyones work, making new friends and learning at the same time

Go Mexico! (this for some reason feels like I'm cheering on a soccer team)

We won't know what they are until they are announced after todays rollover.. It's going to be 9pm for me as I'm in California... Whatever the two open challenges are will be the first submission for the Olympics..

I'll take number 2.. Can my jersey actually say #2 though.. If that's a pain, then no biggy.. :-).. Thanks for doing the jerseys..

The shirts look pretty awesome!
If truegsht doesn't take 4, can I have it? Otherwise I'll take any number!

I'd also just like to point out that no one on the Mexico team currently (according to the profiles) lives in Mexico : )

I did a take on the jerseys last night as well. They are very similar. Just a little different, but same colors and idea.

Anyone know the first challenge..or is it one of the 2 open challenges now? Maybe I need to read more, but I have no idea what we are needing to shoot yet, unless it is one of the ones up already. If that is the case..I just submitted a very late entry...just stopped and snapped one off on the way home from work today.

From what I understood, the first challenge will be announced after rollover in 2h15 (from time of post), so the Rural/Urban Landscapes will not be counted in the Olympics. I have no idea if they will have us go towards only one of the two open challenges though (I hope not!).

From what I understand, it will be the challenges after rollover tonight.

They each have things I like.. James' look more like hockey jerseys and yours look more old school to me.. You two should take what you both like the best from each of yours and then combine them into one.. I'm stoked over both of them.. Did anyone check out yanko's portfolio.. He's made a bunch for the other teams.. I think there are few that have been able to come up with our own.. And, that's cause we've got algún photoshop asnos malos en nuestro equipo.. Translation: we've got some Photoshop bad asses on our team !!!!!!! :-)

I have asked yanko if he would take a shot at ours and sent him what I have so far. He has made some really cool jerseys and I would love to see what he comes up with. He has agreed to give it a shot and then we can see what we want to use. If nothing else, Trinch and I can combine our efforts and rock it out.

Ok everyone !!! We have our first assignment... It's interesting that they chose another landscape challenge when we're just having one..

Out of curiosity, what's everyones feelings on shooting a "seascape" for the landscape challenge.. I live right next to the beach.. The beach & farm country is all that surrounds me.. But, some people may consider a seascape to not be a landscape..
